EXI Fly iOS App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the EXI Fly iOS App operated by Zhongshan Yixing Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. ("we" or "us"). It explains how the iOS App collects, uses, stores, shares and protects information when you use account services, drone connection, flight control, firmware upgrade and flight record functions.

For users outside Mainland China, the App uses email registration and login. Mainland China users may use mobile phone registration and login under the Chinese version of this Policy.


1.Information We Collect

Account information: email address, verification status, encrypted password, login token and account status, used for registration, login, account security and user management.

Drone and connection information: drone serial number, model, firmware version, Wi-Fi name (SSID), drone IP address, Bluetooth device name, Bluetooth service or characteristic information, and connection status, used to identify and connect the drone, configure Wi-Fi, communicate with the drone and complete firmware upgrade.

Flight records: serial number, flight start time, end time, duration, distance, altitude, maximum height, latitude, longitude, operation status and error information, used to display and synchronize flight history, support after-sales service and troubleshoot issues.

Network and diagnostics: network status, request time, interface response, local network status, UDP/MAVLink communication data, App version, iOS version, device model, crash stack and error logs. The App uses Bugly crash reporting to improve stability.

Local cache: account token, device configuration, firmware files, flight cache and temporary logs may be stored in the iOS App sandbox for normal operation, connection recovery and firmware upgrade.


2. iOS Permissions

Location Permission: iOS requires Location permission to read Wi-Fi SSID and related network identification information. The App uses it mainly to confirm whether the phone is connected to the drone Wi-Fi and to help configure the drone network. We do not use it for continuous background tracking of your phone location.

Bluetooth Permission: used to scan and connect supported drone or configuration devices, including WingStar devices, and to obtain drone Wi-Fi configuration, IP address, model or connection status. We do not use Bluetooth to track unrelated nearby devices.

Local Network Permission: used to discover, receive and send data to the drone on the same Wi-Fi network. This is necessary for UDP/MAVLink communication and flight control.

Wireless Data / Network Access: used for account services, flight record upload, firmware checks and downloads, and crash diagnostics.

Permissions not currently used: based on current iOS functions, the App does not actively request Contacts, SMS, Microphone, Camera, Photos, Calendar, Health, Face ID or Touch ID permissions unless a future feature clearly requires them and separately asks for your authorization.


3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide registration and login, connect and control drones, configure drone Wi-Fi, display flight status, save and synchronize flight records, upgrade firmware, improve App stability, troubleshoot communication or flight issues, protect account and device security, and comply with legal requirements.


4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share necessary information only with service providers that support server hosting, crash diagnosis, data storage or email verification services; with your consent or request for after-sales support; when required by laws or competent authorities; or when necessary to protect the safety and lawful rights of users, our company or the public.


5. Storage and Protection

We use reasonable security measures such as access control, permission management and encrypted transmission where applicable. Personal information is retained only for the period necessary for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. After the retention period, we will delete or anonymize it where technically feasible.


6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable laws and technical conditions, you may request to access, correct, delete or copy your personal information, withdraw certain permissions, cancel your account, or contact us about privacy questions. You can also manage iOS permissions in Settings. Disabling Location, Bluetooth or Local Network permission may make drone connection, Wi-Fi configuration, flight control or firmware upgrade unavailable.


7. Children

If you are a child under the age required by applicable law to provide independent consent, please use the App only with the consent and guidance of your guardian. If we find that children's personal information has been collected without proper consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.


8. Updates and Contact

Responsible Entity: These "EXI Fly APP" is developed and operated by Zhongshan Yixing Innovation Technology Co., Ltd., which shall bear corresponding responsibilities in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
